John Wootton (Jack)
Passed away peacefully at home on Friday 30th May at 3:40am surrounded by family. Aged 80, Jack had
battled cancer for 3 years and stayed positive throughout. Jack was an ex miner at Silverwood
colliery. He lived in Sunnyside and leave his wife Dot, sons John, Kev & Paul. Daughters Wendy,
Yvonne & Teresa. Numerous Grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is reunited with son Barry.

Died of bowel cancer, with liver secondary.

What can I say about my dad?
He was everything. His humour and courage knew no bounds. He was dedicated to his family, especially
Dot. He was known as "silly Grandad" and the green chair in the corner is lonely without him

IF I DON'T SEE YOU THROUGH THE WEEK I'LL SEE YOU THROUGH THE WINDOW

RIP Dad.....I love you!

Mum followed dad on 2nd July 2008 RIP mum and dad xxxx

Well dad, it's been a year. Sometimes it seems a year since I talked to you. More often it feels like it was only yesterday, the pain is still raw.
We love and miss you.
No doubt you'll be with us tomorrow, you never could resist a BBQ

X Give mum a kiss X

A Year

It's been a year since you left the ones you love.
It's been a year that you've been looking down on us from up above.
It's been a year of constant reminder that you're not here.
It's been a year of memories, sorrow and fear.
It's been a year since that horrible night.
It's been a year from when you walked into the light.
It's been a year where we had to be strong everyday.
It's been a year of unspoken words we need to say.
It's been a year since we had to say goodbye.
Where is the good in goodbye when all we do is cry?
It's been a year that has changed all our days.
It's been a year, and we've grown strong in so many ways.
It's been a year where we know you're in a better place.
It's been a year, and we still haven't forgotten your face.
It's been a year of just imagining what it's like up there.
It's been a year since he took you, it just seems so unfair.
It's been a year, but we know you're doing alright.
It's been a year of only seeing you in our dreams at night.
It's been a year, and we want you to know that we love you,

It's been a year.
